TABLE LAMP XII
Lamp is made of senegalese calabash.
White carvings are deeper layer of white wood which allows some light to pass through it.
The base is carved in wood and finished with natural italian natural oil.
The supporting 'stem' is finished off with black jeweller waxed string.
Diameters of the gourd are 20 and 22cm, and lamp is 39,5 cm high.

"I find it amazing when form follows function. Not only are the gourd lamps beautiful to look at with the lights on, turn the lights off and the lamps transform. Not only does the lamp itself look fascinating, but the light it casts creates beautiful and interesting designs across the room. Check out the lamps both on and off.
